The most important thing I want individuals of mixed backgrounds to understand is that they shouldn’t look at the fact that Mother Nature produced us in diverse ways as a negative thing. One should rejoice in the fact that they come from many cultural origins. “It’s stunning and wonderful,” she has to say about it. “I want children to understand that they are not the only ones experiencing these emotions. Wes was one of those individuals who gave their support. Recognizing problems and reassuring one another that they are not the only ones dealing with them is necessary and significant for us.

Kilcher’s career as an actress, as well as her advocacy for human rights and the environment, both had their start when she was very young. She was designated as a young advocate for Amnesty International and for Amazon Watch after participating in fact-finding excursions and speaking out against the exploitation of indigenous people in the Amazon by corporations. During a demonstration outside the White House in 2010 about the impact of the multinational extractive sector on local communities, she was taken into custody.

Kilcher had shackled herself to a fence, and her mother, Saskia, had thrown a dark substance over her as a visual disturbance to the arrival of Peru’s president Alan Garcia, who was meeting with the president of the United States of America, Barack Obama. After both ladies had completed their required community service, the charges against them were eventually withdrawn. Kilcher initiated the on-Q project to better disseminate the word on the essential subjects to her.

The organization’s primary goal is connecting young people in Hollywood with worldwide programs promoting environmental sustainability, corporate responsibility, fundamental human rights, and universal dignity and compassion. Kilcher’s recent acting efforts have given her grounds to think that contemporary images in the media may begin to transcend the negative preconceptions perpetuated over decades on both the big screen and the little screen.

Kilcher thinks that the Native American community must assist in educating others and advocate for an honest and respectable portrayal of themselves in media. The first step is for the team and the cultural advisors to demonstrate concern and understanding,” she explains. “On Hostiles, we were fortunate to have an incredible cultural counselor.
