Rashami Desai, born Shivani Desai on February 13, 1986, is an Indian actress who mostly works in Hindi television. Rashami Desai is her professional name. Shivani Desai is her birth name. She is the winner of several awards, including two Indian Television Academy Awards and Gold Awards, among other honors. She has carved out a niche for herself as one of the most well-known and well-paid actors working in the television industry.

Desai began her career as an actress by working in films that were created in regional languages. In 2006, she made her debut on Hindi television with the show Ravan, and in 2008, she had a dual part in the film Pari Hoon Main. She won several honors for her performance as Tapasya Thakur in the long-running soap opera Uttaran, which aired on Colors TV from 2009 to 2014. This role helped her achieve tremendous recognition.
