Seattle Mariners Biography and Career:
The Seattle Mariners are a professional baseball team headquartered in Seattle, Washington, that participates in the American League (National League) and the Pacific Coast League (AL). Despite the fact that they were founded in 1977, the Mariners did not have a winning season until 1991, breaking an all-time record for the longest time span between a franchise’s first winning season and its first losing season in the process.
