Stromae Biography and Career:

Paul Van Haver is a Belgian singer-songwriter, rapper, and musician better known by his stage name Stromae (French pronunciation: ). Paul Van Haver was born on March 12, 1985, and his Dutch name is . He is well renowned for his work in the hip-hop and electronic music genres. With the release of the single “Alors on danse” from the album Cheese, which reached number one in a number of European nations, Stromae gained significant public notice.

A commercial success in 2013, his second album Racine carrée sold 2 million copies in France.  “Papaoutai” and “Formidable” are two of the album’s lead singles. Pierre Rutare, a Rwandan Tutsi, and Miranda Van Haver, a Flemish woman, were the parents of Paul Van Haver, who was born and reared in Brussels’ Laeken neighbourhood.
