Jordan Prentice Biography and Career:

Jordan Prentice is a Canadian actor born on the 30th of January 1973. An Insignificant Harvey is a locally produced independent film that aims to be offbeat at any point in its 78-minute running length. The movie is at its strongest when it abandons its efforts to be witty and allows lead actor Jordan Prentice to do his thing onscreen.

Harvey is a lonely ex-orphan who lives alone in an unheated Airstream trailer amid a Collingwood winter. Writer and first-time feature director Jeff Kopas keeps things a bit too twee, and it is evident that he has been inspired by Thomas McCarthy’s excellent The Station Agent, released in 2005.

Little Person taking front stage Peter Dinklage stars as a solitary man who travels to the woods of New Jersey for seclusion but finds up making friends instead. Prentice brings compassion and intelligence to the part of Harvey, which is that of an outsider who is anxious to fit in and build meaningful connections, even though the prospect of doing so scares him. These sudden realizations of reality make the voyage through An Insignificant Harvey more exciting.
