Prithvi Shaw Biography and Career:

Prithvi Pankaj Shaw is a well-known Indian cricketer who has represented his country in all three game forms since his birth on November 9, 1999. In the Indian version of the game, he plays for the Mumbai and Delhi Capitals teams. , The Indian national side won the 2018 Under-19 World Cup, with him serving as captain.

Shaw is a right-handed opener batsman who made his debut in international competition on October 4, 2018, at the age of 18. He became the second-youngest Indian to strike a century in a test match, behind only Sachin Tendulkar, and the youngest Indian to do so on their debut in a test match.

On January 1, 2017, Shaw debuted in a first-class match while playing for Mumbai in the semi-finals of the Ranji Trophy 2016–17 season. In October 2018, he was given a spot on India A’s roster for the Deodhar Trophy for the 2018–19 season. In the Vijay Hazare Trophy match in February 2021 between Pondicherry and Prithvi Shaw’s team, Prithvi Shaw achieved an undefeated double century (227* off 152). The current highest individual score in the history of the competition was conducted by Shaw, who finished with a 227*.

After reaching 227 not out against Pondicherry in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, Prithvi Shaw currently holds the record for the highest List A score ever achieved by a skipper in men’s cricket; he scored 827 runs in the same competition, the highest number of runs ever scored in a single season. He scored 379 runs in one inning while playing for the Ranji trophy against Assam on January 12, 2023.

Both the 2020-21 Vijay Hazare Trophy and the 2021-22 Ranji Trophy were won by Mumbai under his captaincy, and both times they advanced to the final. In the 2020-21 Vijay Hazare tournament, Mumbai defeated Uttar Pradesh; however, in the final of the 2021 Ranji tournament, Chandrakant Pandit’s Madhya Pradesh team beat them.
