Actress, singer, and published author Taraji Penda Henson hails from the United States. Her professional acting career was launched in 1997 when she was cast in an episode of the television series “The Parent ‘Hood” as the character “Aida.” She has previously been a part of several television episodes and a handful of movies before landing her breakthrough role in the movie “Baby Boy,” which led to her receiving nominations at the “Black Movie Awards.”
